Do not let the next shiny object take your focus!

We have all been there. We start something, get so far with it, then something new takes our eye, we don't want to miss out, so we do that as well and so on and so on. Many new Internet Marketers are so ambitious that they think if they invest in every great opportunity that comes their way, then they are sure to succeed.

Problem is though you will get that jack of all trades thing going on. You will not be a master in any of your businesses and that is what you really need to achieve success in online business at first.

What you need is the ability to lock in and focus all of your energy on one online business. Having too many demands on your focus at first will lead you nowhere. You will also experience a huge information overload. There really is no reason to do this to yourself. Get involved in one great opportunity and make it work.

There is no uniqueness!

One great way to get started in Internet Business is to invest in a legitimate home business opportunity. Now, because some of these are so good, they attract a lot of other people who also want to be involved in such a great opportunity.

The problem here is that you do not want to end up making yourself look like a robot. If you are selling the same thing as other people then it will be obvious to the consumer that the product or service is a successful one, otherwise so many people would not have invested in it and promote it themselves.

But who are they going to buy it from? You, or somebody else selling the same legitimate home based opportunity? Remember, the product is the same, but the people who are selling it are different. If there is something that stands out about you and makes you a lot more unique than the others, then they will buy from you. If you come across as the same as everybody else then it's a gamble. Will they buy from you, or not.

You cannot build a six figure home based income stream on a gamble.

Put the effort in to make yourself raise above all the other 'noise' on the internet. Brand yourself strongly. If you do then you will reap the rewards from that strong branding for as long as you wish.

Don't do it all yourself!

This is a hard trap to avoid! We all love being in control of everything. We all want to develop our online business 'baby' by ourselves. Then we all will work ourselves into the ground without ever earning the six figure income we truly deserve!

The trick is to get good at outsourcing. There are plenty of fantastic outsourcing website out there where you can get this done.

It should work like this. You focus on one single traffic source like article marketing for example. Once you understand your system and have it working successfully, you explain it to somebody else and pass it down the line for them to do. Then you focus on the next traffic source, say video marketing. Once you understand your system and have it working successfully you explain how to do it to somebody else and pass it down the line. Now you have 2 traffic sources working for you that you are not lifting a finger in, so you move on to the next traffic source. See where I am going with this?

Do not be afraid to re-invest your money back into your business for outsourcing. You will make it all back ten-fold AND you give somebody else the opportunity to earn an honest wage, win win!

How to Make a Six Figure Online Income

What do you need to do?

What I'll do is give you the basics which should get you started. There are many more talented people who can advise you further, but I'll explain how to start.

There is two ways you can sell the products online.

Create websites for each of the products, submit them to search engines and wait for the orders to come in.
Build up an email database by offering a free manual and then selling the other products to your email database.

The first thing you need to do is create an online sales letter for each of the products. You can either register 15 different domain names, or you could have 1 domain name and have extensions for each product.

For example, you main domain could be [http://www.123incomeproducts.co.uk], Then each of the products would have an extension, so: Business Millionaire would be 123incomeproducts.co.uk/millionaire, Bonusprint Income would be 123wealthproducts.co.uk/income And so on. Shop around on the net for the best place to purchase your domain.

Setting the right expecations

You will also need to rent web space. You can do this from the site that you register the domain with. Let's start with creating a website for each product and submitting it to the search engines.

There are a number of ways to create a webpage. You can use the number of free software available online, for example from the likes of Weebly and Blogger or you could use MS Front page or similar website design packages.

Because you are not creating a full website, just a sales letter webpage, it is quite straight forward. There are a number of ways in which customers can order the products from your site.

1. The easiest way is to have an order form on your site which customers simply print and post back to you.

2. Create an order form and accept paypal payments.

3. Use a shopping card that will process the order for you.

4. Use ClickBank.

Option 1 is fairly straight forward, and allows you to put links for the sales letter to the order form that is to be printed. Using this option means you'll be sending hard copies of the products rather that ebooks - this could work to your advantage as most people prefer hard copies of books, manuals and study courses.

With option 2, again you create the order form in the same way as option 1, and you need to register with PayPal.Once you've been accepted to receive payments, they provide the code that you paste into your order form.

You can either send hard copies of the products, or create an internet download page to which customers are directed to after payment, this will be password protected.

The third option is to use a shopping cart. The ones I would suggest you look at are:

1 shopping cart can do so much more than simply process orders.

Here's how it works.

Once you've opened an account - you will have to pay for an account - you then submit all the products into your account shopping cart as pdf files. Then, when someone orders, the payment is processed and an email is sent with a link to download the product.

Payloadz does a similar thing. It works best when you accept paypal payments. Once the customer pays via paypal, an email is sent with a link to download the product.

The forth option is to use ClickBank.

What this company will do is process all orders and email the products to the customers - a much cheaper option that using shopping carts. You can also allow others to sell the products and they'll receive a % of the price.

The only downside is that you can only sell products priced up to $50 so most of your products cannot be sold via clickbank.However, this is a good way to build up a customer email list using some of the cheaper products.

First you need to create an account. This is free.Next follow the links to sell your products. You will have to pay to accept credit card payments. It is something like $50.00, but this is a one-off payment.

You'll need an internet download page to which customers are directed to after payment, this will be password protected. They then give you the link for you to use, which you paste onto your sales letter.

The link will be something like: "Order today, click here" and the customer is then directed to the order page that ClickBank has set up for your product.
